Terms of Use

These terms set out the conditions for using Neko no Niwa (“the App”). By downloading or using the App, you are deemed to have agreed to these terms. This English version is a translation of the Japanese terms of use; if there is any difference between them, the Japanese version prevails.

1. About the App

The App is an app in which the scenery of a garden changes with your step count from Health, and you can spend time with cats in needle-felt form. It is provided by KT Labs (an individual developer; “the Developer”).

2. In-app purchases

• The App offers in-app purchases, such as “welcoming” a new cat into your garden.
• Purchases are made through Apple's payment system. The price shown on the purchase screen applies.
• You can restore purchases using the restore feature in the App.
• Refunds follow the procedures and criteria set by Apple.

3. The “My Cat” feature and photos

• The “My Cat” feature generates a needle-felt style image based on the photo you choose.
• Only upload photos you have the necessary rights to (such as photos of your own or your family's cat). Do not use photos that infringe the rights of others, photos in which a person can be identified, or photos that are contrary to public order and morals.
• Because the images are generated automatically by AI, details may differ from the photo or from the real cat. An exact match of the generated result is not guaranteed.
• Generated “My Cat” images are provided for you to enjoy within the App. You are free to use them privately, for example through screenshots.

4. Prohibited conduct

• Unauthorized analysis, modification, or reverse engineering of the App
• Obtaining paid items by illegitimate means
• Interfering with the operation of the App
• Conduct that violates laws or is contrary to public order and morals

5. Intellectual property

The rights to the App and to the images, text, designs, and other content it contains belong to the Developer or to their rightful holders.

6. Disclaimer

• Effects such as changes in the garden and cat visits are decided by the App based on your step count and the time of day, and no particular result is guaranteed.
• The Developer has no obligation to recover data lost because of device failure, a change of device, or similar causes (purchases can be restored to the extent possible through Apple's mechanisms).
• Except in cases of intent or gross negligence, the Developer is not liable for damages arising from use of the App.

7. Changes to or end of the service

The Developer may change the content of the App or end its provision, with prior notice.

8. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms as needed. If there are important changes, we will let you know on this page and in the App.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan, and the court having jurisdiction over the Developer's location shall have exclusive agreed jurisdiction over any dispute relating to the App.
